Frans Appels founded Netprofiler in an attic room in Amstelveen in 2003. In 2005 the attic room was substituted for a real office at de Brouwerij. The same year there was a breakthrough in web analytics : Google Anayltics. We were one of the first companies to start using this tool, with significant consequences:

Google Analytics developed itself from a simple web statistics tool into a very extensive analytics suite. Aside from web statistics, other data sources can now also be analyzed and connected to each other. Partly as a result of Google Analytics the world of online marketing matured and become more data driven. As did Netprofiler!
Now Netprofiler has grown into a online marketing company with over 30 data driven online-marketeers. For 8 years (since 2009) Netprofiler has been ranked first place (some years second place) in the Emerce top 100 for the best ‘Analytics and optimization company’ in the Netherlands. For the last few years we have also got a high ranking in the category Digital Marketing companies. In 2016 we were on a shared third place. The case Netprofiler did for her customer ‘Rijles’ has been awarded with the best search engine marketing case of the year at the most recent Search Engine Strategy event. With this we won the Search Engine Strategy Award (also known as De Speld). This was not the first time we were nominated for one of our cases.
